>Offered here is an old and original 1955 Armour baseball coin, featuring New York Yankees star Mickey Mantle! Please see both scans! This aqua-colored coin (actually a lighter blue than my scans suggest) is the "incorrect spelling" version (says "Mantel" on the front). In 1955, Armour inserted a plastic coin into their packages of hot dogs. The coin shows a raised profile of Mantle along with his name, team, birthplace, position, batting/throwing preference and 1954 hitting average. The back of coin also shows a baseball diamond, along with crossed bats & ball. <> Condition: this vintage baseball collectible shows some scratches on front and back, but is very clean & solid!
