1955 Buffalo Pottery & 1959 Buff China Christmas Plates

Offered for auction are two Christmas Collector Plates. One is dated 1955 and the front reads, "A Christmas Scene from A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens." The back is marked "Buffalo Pottery Inc." The other plate is dated 1959 and it too has a short story or scene from Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol." The back is marked, "Buffalo China, Inc." Both plates are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Each plate however has a tiny pock like mark on the back which I believe was done when these plates were being made. I believe this to be the case because of w the marks are located (on back in middle w plate curves upward) and because I have five of these plates, all of which I am listing this week that all have these same marks on them in the same spot. In any case these marks appear on the back of plates and by no means take away from the "light hearted" scenes on the front.
