This is the very first training manual given to the initial Disneyland employees in early 1955. Including the covers, it's 25 pages long and features everything one would want to know about going to work at Disneyland starting on its opening day of July 17, 1955. It also features many illustrations, including famous Disney characters and Disneyland logos. The text is a kick to read because it clearly came directly from Walt's own attitude toward the park and the kinds of people who should work t So, in addition to functional information such as vacation time, a lot of room is reserved for discussions of attitude, team-work, and Disneyland no-nos such as "profanity." Clearly, it was a different world back then. Condition is crisp, and the pages are tightly bound. T are some slight marker scribbles on the very top of the front cover, but they blend into the clouds and barely detract. T is also some very light browning of the back cover towards the upper-left corner. Any shadows or fading on the photos are due to my scanner, and not the actual item. Absolutely original and not a copy or Xerox. This comes from my personal collection. I have one of the largest collections of vintage (1955-1969) Disneyland paper anyw, and will begin listing select pieces from my collection over the next few weeks and months. Much of it is incredibly rare, and in certain cases, one-of-a-kind. PAYPAL ONLY , and since I'm lazy, I only ship within the US with Priority Mail for $5. Despite what it says below, insurance is mandatory and extra and will be calculated based on the final winning bid. I am happy to answer any/all questions since all sales are FINAL.
