Up for auction is what most consider to be the "King" of error's in the Lincoln Cent's. This coin still has a lot of the full red luster as it did the day it came from the Mint and with all certainty is an Uncirculated coin. It has razor sharp detail on both the Obverse and Reverse as well as the rim's. EVERYTHING on the Obverse is strongly doubled and is very visible to the naked eye. You can still see Victor David Brenner's initial's on Abe's shoulder under light magnification and with no problem. T is absolutely no wear on either side. The only problem with this coin is that it does have some discoloration in the word TRUST on the Obverse. It's primarily in the letters RUST and looks to be from improper storage thru the years. I don't know how much this detracts from its value but I do know that it is still one awesome coin! It could possibly be repaired by some of the Pro's out t, but that is something I have never done, nor will I ever, because to me I would rather have an all original, unaltered coin any day. It actually adds some character, to a certain degree, to me? Coin World has this coin listed at $1,600.00 with a grade of XF-40 and $2,000.00 at MS-60. These figure's come from a 2007 book and I would think they have increased since then but I'm not sure? I am not and will not put a grade on this coin but instead let you look at the picture's and be your own judge. I do of coarse have my opinion but we all do and your's is all that matters if you are a serious bidder. I do gaurantee that this coin is authentic and will be the actual coin shown to be the coin that you will receive. I will also offer a 100% satisfaction 7 day gaurantee, no question's asked, return policy as long as the coin is in the flip you receive it in and untampered with. S&H is free for the lower 48 and Canada but S&H is non-refundable and item must be shipped back by the same exact method as I shipped it out if you are not happy for any reason. Sorry, t will be no oversea's bidding on this item. I always purchase Delivery Confirmation, Insurance and use the most economical way but yet the fastest method to get it to you. The U.S.P.S. is the only carrier that will insure any kind of currency without going thru a third party and I personally have never had a coin lost that I have shipped thru them. I ship within 24hrs.(except weekends & holidays) of receiving cleared payment and keep you very informed thru out the whole transaction. All in all, I have described this coin as honestly and to the best of my ability but I certainly welcome any and all question's so please don't hesitate in contacting me. I also have more picture's and if you want to see them just let me know. I know a pretty fair amount of details about these particular coin's(no, not everything) but I don't see the need of putting them in the listing because if your looking to own one of these gems, you probably already know a fair amount yourself. But for the sake of saying it and I don't get flooded with emails, this is NOT a Poor Man's 55DDO. This is the real deal! Thank you for looking and considering this auction. I don't think you'll be disappointed with this coin but if you are I'll be for you. Please check my Feedback and bid with complete confidence!
