This is our second baseball in our series of signed baseballs that our dealer Artie Brooks collected at Cooperstown Hall of Fame when in the 1950's when he was a boy. He accompanied his Dad who worked as a photographer for Associated Press to summer games. This ball is from 1955 and contains the signatures of the 4 inductees that year - Joe DiMaggio, Ted Lyons, Dazzy Vance and Gabby Hartnett. The year before Artie went to lunch with Cy Young & others, the year of 1955 Joe DiMaggio & Ted Lyons took him to lunch. The game that year was between Boston & Milwaukee. Please notice our feedback on the last baseball we sold, it was authenticated by The JSA per buyer. Artie says that the Dazzy Vance's signature is worth the most. Please note INSURANCE is included in shipping cost. I have taken some better pictures to show the actual color of this great ball. Hope this helps!! The signatures on the ball also include Joe DiMaggio, Del Crandall ( 1955 Milwaukee), Gabby Hartnett, Bill Copps, Bill Klaus, Lou Brassie ( coach ), Andy Pafco (1955 Milwaukee), Danny O'Connell ( 1955 Milwaukee 2nd base), Dave Jolly, Milt Bolling, Paul Schreiber, George Crowe, Ted Williams, Ted Lyons, Dazzy Vance, and Johnny Logan. The condition is good and all signatures are readable. This ball has NOT been authenticated but we stand behind it & guarantee it with a read more
