1955 Chevrolet Nomad Station Wagon Street Machine We're liquidating Grandpa's model car collection, offering now the classic 1955 Chevy Nomad Station Wagon Street Machine. He purchased this model new in 1997 as part of Danbury Mint's Rods & Customs Collection. It doesn't look like it was displayed but it may have been in one of the display cases he had. Included are the Certificate of Title, Unpacking and Care Instructions, a descriptive history of the car, original invoice as well as the original box with styrofoam case.Some of the wonderful features of this beautiful model: Opening front doors Reverse opening hood allows viewing of the engine compartment Tailgate and rear window open to view the speakers located on the floor Steerable front wheels Tachometer mounted on the dash Fire extinguisher laying on the center of the floor between the front seats License plate says SEE YA This model is beautiful "GM torch red" with light beige interior.A lot of information on the history of this car is contained on the info sheet they provided.We must disclose that Grandpa smoked and while this model was possibly stored in a display case and later stored in a closet, the box, paperwork and car may have a slight smell of smoke.
