ROYAL COPENHAGEN CHRISTMAS PLATE 1955 Royal Copenhagen has issued each year from 1908 a Christmas plate in the famous hand painted cobalt blue. Every plate is made for one year only. Then the moulds are destroyed. Normally the plates are sold out within a short period of time, and can usually only be bought as antique items. Royal Copenhagen Christmas plate 1955 showing a small girl in a local costume of Fano feeding birds. Designed by Kai Lange. Perfect condition. First class. Hand painted in cobalt blue. Fully marked and signed. ca 7-inch diameter. Made with holes in the back ready for hanging. First class without any chips, cracks or repairs. Have got most of these beautiful collection from 1909-2011 The picture shown may not be the one you will get as I do not take new picture for each plate.
