This item that you are about to bid on: 1955 Royal Copenhagen Denmark Christmas Plate Condition: Excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. Beautiful colors. Special Features/Notes: Check out this rare, highly sought after 1955 Royal Copenhagen Denmark Christmas Plate. This measures 7" across and features a small girl in the local costume of Fanø feeding birds. The scarf around her neck is used to protect her face and eyes from the blowing sands when working in the fields of Fano Island, a famous resort off the west coast of Jutland. Plate designed by Kai Lange. On the back of the plate, t are two factory drilled holes and nylon thread for hanging. Also on the back is the Royal Copenhagen trademark and name, three distinct blue wavy lines indicating a factory first and the artist's mark and the signature. Can be found elsew on the internet for double what we are asking! Winner gets what is pictured.
