's a JEWEL!! A 1955 Calendar for NEIL EVERTSE AGENCY Insurance and Surety Bonds 526 Keeler Bldg Telephone 8-1238 Grand Rapids (Michigan). T motto "BEARS FOR SERVICE" made for a nice background to a Frank Hoffman SMOKEY THE BEAR print "DOUBLE SURPRISE"... a couple of cowboys surprise a mama bear Mrs Smokey?! and her cubs.. information about the artist is printed under the month pages (all complete by the way). Look Frank up on the internet... he's very interesting! The cabin in the print has the official "SMOKEY SAYS PREVENT FOREST FIRES" sign tacked outside. As for the stats: The poster/calendar is 43" long 29" wide. The poster is in wonderful condition... I thinks it's been rolled up for the last 52 years so it needs to be flattened out... the left hand corner has a small amount of "foxing" and a slight rough edge... the print part is rip/tear/stain free and very bright... You can't miss with this cross collectible and probably very RARE... Enjoy!
