is a fabulous pair of vintage 1955 porcelain salt and pepper shakers in the form of dalmatian dogs. These mint, perfect condition dogs are from a collection of 1950s shakers that I acquired from an elderly collector. She only displayed her shakers, and marked most with a tape label noting who she acquired them from and when. This set is marked, "Jobson, 1955". I'm not sure if these shakers were released at the time that Walt Disney released 101 Dalmatian, but they definately fit that theme. One of the shakers is a Dalmatian standing, the other is sitting with a paw raised. The standing dog measures 4 1/2 inches long by 3 1/4 inches tall. Both shakers have a foil label with "Relco, Japan". Super nice condition, they look brand new, and you would never guess that they are 52 years old. A super pair of dogs to add to your collection.
