For sale one pair DMV-clear 1956 California license plates, with 1959 sticker. This is not a reclaimed, re-glued-on sticker, it is the original sticker stuck on in 1959 and still stuck t! These are true 1959 S-series plates and would be absolutely correct for your 1959 car. T are no stickers under the 59, and also have never been any stickers on top of it either.

They can also be legally registered in California on ANY car model year 1956 thru 1962 (with a different year sticker, other than 1959 not included).

These California plates are DMV clear, and they are guaranteed DMV clear, by me, for 30 days following end of auction. You will get all your money back, including return shipping, if they aren't! (Everything must be returned in the same condition they were sent.)

These are excellent unrestored originals. They were only on the car one year before it moved out of state. They are straight and nice. The front plate looks as good as most rear plates! They have a slight mothball smell. T's something refreshing about old car parts with a mothball smell, don't you agree? :-)

They were originally on a new 1959 Edsel, and the Edsel dealer frames are in another auction. However, being DMV-clear I personally guarantee they can be registered on ANY make: Ford, Chevy, Pontiac, Cadillac, Studebaker, or a '59 Prius if t is such a thing ... you name it! No need to tell anyone they were Edsel plates unless you want to!

One pair of straight, nice, shiny, near-mint December 1958 Oregon plates! They look almost like new. This auction includes both sets, WOW :-) Information on Oregon plates: I don't have any! What you see is what you get. As you know, 1959 models came out in autumn 1958, so these will also look legit on your old Batmobile. Swap 'em out at the car show, make it look like a whole 'nother car!
