1956 Oregon license plates - a matched pair

This is a pair of 1956 Oregon license plates. Colors are bright and clear with marks around the top mounting holes on both plates. Backs show blue overspray from original production. As far as I can tell these plates have not been repainted. One plate has two wear areas on the back along the lower edge w it apparently rubbed against something hard while mounted on the car. Wear shows on front as two small ragged areas along the lower edge. This plate also has a 3/4 inch scratch in the blue between the 9 and 5. Except at the top mounting holes t is no rust on either plate. Plates were produced with a September effective date and slots for metal tags to change the years after 1956. Nice pair of plates to go on a classic 1956 car. PayPal preferred. USPS Priority Mail is preferred.
