You are bidding on a LARGE 1956 Pennsylvania Railroad calendar, artist Grif Teller, "Dynamic Progree". The print itself is dated 1955. December is the only page remaining as the others have been removed, but the poster/calendar is in EXCELLENT condition. The paper calendar December part has some stray ink marks. The calendar measures 29" by 29" and is in excellent condition with no tears or creases. T are no stray marks on the poster. The edges are in very nice condition. The original letter is still attached in the upper left corner, describing the painting. I have shown the worst edge with some light creasing. T are no tears. The calendar has been stored in its original tube for nearly 60 years. This is one item of a very extensive collection from the estate of my grandfather who was born in 1892. He worked as a Special Agent (Co. Policeman) for the Northern Pacific and Union Pacific from the 1930's until the early 1960's. During his career he saved many advertising items given to him by the various Railroad Traffic Offices that were in Seattle . This includes Midwestern and Eastern railroads along with the local lines. T are many calendars, timetables, maps, posters, name train brochures, travel brochures and some hardware items that we will be selling.
