Up for bid is a 1957 Corvette SS by AUTOart 1:18 scale.This model has never been displayed and is in excellent condition complete with the original packaging. The box has a small dent approx. 1 inch long in top right corner. In 1957 the Corvette SS was developed to be the Corvette race car that would beat the best of the European sports cars ; the Ferraris and Maseratis. The SS engine developed 307 hp at 6,400 rpm from its 283 ci iron-block. The car was a spectacular hit at Sebring in 1957. The SS legend has grown ever since. This is an exceptional diecast model and would enhance any collection and a must for any Corvette collector. I accept PayPal only. Payment due 5 days from close of auction.
