1957 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser convert "Indy 500 Pace Car". This is a resin promo re-creation by Wheat's Nostalgia. When these Mercury resin models were introduced a number of years ago, I had Wheat's Nostalgia build this one as a Pace Car replica. The only "correct" 57 Turnpike convert WAS the Pace Car version--all were replicas finished in a light yellow color called Sun Glitter. If you are familar with these Joe Wheat models, then you know their quality. They are no longer being re-produced, so this might be your only chance to get this Pace Car replica. Absolutely mint original condition. No disappointments--check my seller feedback.
