Click for a larger image. For your bidding consideration is a highly collectable set of eight 11 x 14-inch color lobby cards from the 1958 movie âeoe HOT ROD GANG âe. AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL PICTURES released this movie in 1958. Four of the cards have been professionally mounted and custom framed using CONSERVATION MATERIALS AND PROCESSES . (Note: framing labels on backing of frame.) Four of the cards remain unframed and are in great condition. The frame dimensions are 32 1⁄2 inches high by 36 inches wide. One of the oldest forms of movie poster art, Lobby cards were first introduced in the 1910s in theatre lobbies. A display fixture in most theatres for 75 + years. Although still available for some films, they are typically used only in foreign markets. Lobby cards remain a very popular collectible product today. These cards are extremely difficult to find and you will generally pay premium prices. What a great piece of nostalgia and art form that these lobby cards provide.
