A SHORT HISTORY OF THE LODGE OF ST. GEORGE NO. 1152 E.C. Privately Published, 1958 Details 1st. Edition. 22pp. There are no illustrations in this book. Size of Book: 20cm x 13cm/7.5in x 5in Condition Very good (+) to near fine publisher’s original red leather covers with a gilt logo in the cente of the front cover. Text is in excellent condition with no foxing, marks or other blemishes. This is an original document. It is is NOT a photocopy or a facsimile reproduction. Contents of this Book A short history of the Lodge of St. George, No 1152, E.C. in Singapore. It is one of the eight listed Freemason Lodges in Singapore. The Lodge of St. George No 1152 was warranted on January, 22nd, 1867 and consecrated on June 24th, 1867. This short history covers the period 1867 to 1951 and includes several pages that deal with the survival of the Lodge during the Japanese occupation of Singapore, including accounts of the meetings held ib Changi Gaol. The final two pages contain a list of the past Masters of the Lodfe of St. George from its founding in 1867 to 1959.
