Auction is for the 2nd edition of Jay Publishing 1958 New York Yankees yearbook. This is one of the not official yearbooks published for the New York Yankees on the golden age of baseball, the 1950's. It was common to have as many as 4-7 different yearbooks in any given year. There were three editions to the 1958 NY Yankees yearbook by Jay Publishing. One in April one in June one in July. Only the first edition had the red white and blue cover. The second and third editions were plain white, and are more rare. The first edition was sold throughout the year and about double the copies were printed of it as opposed to the others. This particular copy is in very good to excellent condition. Obvious writing on cover. Minor creasing in top right corner of cover. Book is very strong along spine with no rips or tears. No loose staples no ripped or torn pages book is entirely complete and original. Thanks.
