is a wonderful vintage metal 1959 lunchbox and THERMOS featuring, "STEVE CANYON" by MILTON CANIFF and Field Enterprises. The lunchbox was manufactured by ALADDIN IDUSTIRIES Incorporated of Nashville, Tenn. in excellent condition for its age and the type of wear a lunchbox usually takes. T is some wear along the orange paint border on the side with Steve Canyon inside the plane and very minor wear alongnd the orange border on the side with Steve Canyon standing outside the airplane. On this same side t is slight wear on the litho inside the orange border. T are only minor light scratches on both lithos and the lithos along the sides. The paint is NOT even worn w the lid rests on the bottom lip. The black handle and lock/clasp are firmly attached and is in very good condition. The inside of the lunchbox is in amazingly good condition!! The litho of drawings of planes inside the lid are almost like new! T is very slight spots of wear inside the rim of the lid. The bottom of the inside of the lunchobx very minor wear and minimal small rust spots. The thermos holder is intact and in very good condition. The thermos is also in amazing condition!! The litho of Steve Canyon is like new with very very minor wear. The original sticker is still on the cup/cap saying the thermos is guaranteed to keep contents hot and cold. The red lid is in very good condition and fits tightly. The inside of the thermos is clean and in like new condition. The only "flaw" is the very bottom of the thermos has some wear. So minor!! Wow! What a super lunchbox!! You won't find another Steve Canyon box and thermos in such great condition!! Don't miss out!!! The side of the box with Steve Canyon sitting in the plane has residue from masking tape on the lower right hand corner. I am sure it will come off without a problem.
