When I bought it the volume and tone pots were rusted and seized. I patiently tried very hard to free them up, but it was hopeless. So, I had to replace both potentiometers. All other wiring is original, although I believe I had a tailpiece ground-lead added. I tend to do that to all the silvertones/harmonys that I use regularly, as it really quiets the interference noise. The 3-way capacitance switch makes this a very versatile guitar; don’t let the single pickup fool you!
