Up for auction today is a beautiful 1959 HusqvarnaViking 21A Automatic sewing machine made in Sweden. This pristine machine has been thoroughly cleaned, lubricated and tested and is in great condition cosmetically, electrically and mechanically. It is complete with the full accessory package, original manual and case. The case has a few exterior scuffs but is otherwise sound. I have included lots of photos so you can look it over thoroughly but, of course, if you have any questions, be sure to email me before you bid. This machine uses the standard 15x1 needles and I am including about two dozen bobbins for it, many of them brand new. Each and every attachment listed in the manual is included (see photos). Since this is the 21 A model, it is equipped with the new design refinements including 1) new take up housing; 2) new knob for controlling stitch length; 3) new device for reverse sewing and 4) a stop which limits the zig zag width. These new features are included in a paste-over page for the manual. Of special note about this machine also is the special speed control that allows you to sew particularly slowly, for instance, when doing careful work or embroidering.
