For your consideration today is this very unique, vintage 1959 Massey-Ferguson arrow shaped, dealers advertising sign that remains in like new condition, and features the Massey tractor models 35, 50, 65 and 85. The item is one that looks like it would mount on a pole or rod so both sides can be displayed, tby making the shape of an arrow. This is not a reproduction, nor an item that is newer, but a genuine vintage sales or promotional item that we obtained along with a number of other 1950's Massey Ferguson advertising pieces that came out of a Minnesota dealership . The item is one great looking piece with fantastic, bright yellow colors, it has not been put together or creased at the perforated fold lines at all, so really has remained basically like new, the sign measures 24.5" wide by 15.25" tall, it is designed to slide over a pole, we believe, then t is a panel on each side that forms the shape of an arrow when looking at it from either side. It sort of goes like this when setting it up; the middle of the sign has an open hole, then of course one near the outer edge of both panels. With one part on the top being in normal reading position, the bottom part, which is showing upside down, would be folded back and under to line up the bottom hole towards the top hole. Now both parts read normal since one is on the other side, then the middle hole area has a perforated line right next to it on both sides of the hole that would be creased to make a flat channel, then the top ones are also creased at the line to give you a flat top with those holes lining up with each other, plus t are tabs and slots to help keep it tight or together better, with the item now being ready to slip over a 1 1/8" sized hole. It is now like an arrow in the shape of a long, rectangle sign, with each panel or writing part being 5" tall. Really would be a great looking piece when set up, and did not want to do that with this item since it has not been folded or creased at all!! It will be mailed in a very large, strong cylinder which will not crease the item during shipment. The item remains in beautiful shape color and surface wise, t is maybe a teeny spot or mark that you have to look hard for, t is one dot of stain that is such a minor thing, so really is super nice and clean, t are no dings or damages around the edges or points at all, one end of an arrow panel has just a very slight uneven or slight curl spot that is nothing serious, it is so nice to just look at with the solid, bold lettering, and the tabs and inserts all remain in like new condition! Would be a fine piece mounted on a white, plastic pvc tube or pole, and believe you will really like the item well!! This is one very neat display item that also remains in unused shape, it would be a grand piece for any Massey Ferguson or farm advertising related collection, or as a very special gift for the farmer at Christmas time who might have owned a MF tractor, or has one right now!!
