WOW!!!! CHECK THIS OUT Up for bid is a 1959 New York Yankee "CLUBHOUSE" Autographed Team Baseball with 26 Autographs. Autographs include the following players and coaches: Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, Andy Carey, Whitey Ford, Jim Turner, Bob Richardson, Clete Boyer, Casey Stengel, Enos Slaughter, Norm Siebern, Bobby Shantz, Gil McDougald, Duke Maas, Hector Lopez, Don Larson, Elston Howard, Eli Grba, Ryne Duren, Art Ditmar, Jim Coates, Gary Blaylock, Johnny Blanchard, Hank Bauer, Ralph Terry, Tony Kubek, and Frank Crosetti. The baseball is a Reach Official American League Baseball and comes with the original box (less lid)!!!! I have sent photos to 2 seperate auction houses and both their interpretations is the ball is authentic, the signatures are ALL authentic EXCEPT MICKEY MANTLE'S AUTOGRAPH is probably A CLUBHOUSE AUTOGRAPH..... Meaning Mickey Mantle DID NOT autograph this baseball... someone signed the ball for him in his abscence. This was an often common practice back in those days. This is not proven 100%....but looking at Mickey's signature this is probably the case. But do not be saddened by this news , as both auction houses stated this a VERY collectible item with some GREAT autographs!!! HAPPY BIDDING!!! Well, let's talk a little bit more about this baseball. My father gave it to me several years back. It was given to him probably twenty years previous to that as a retainer for some legal work. Although, despite the lack of a certifiable autograph from Mickey, this ball has a lot of things going for it. The ball that these LEGENDS signed on was an OFFICIAL AMERICAN LEAGUE BASEBALL ...IMPORTANT>>IMPORTANT>>>IMPORTANT Don Larson , ONLY PITCHER IN HISTORY to throw a PERFECT GAME in the WORLD SERIES....In HISTORY...that's a long time and it keeps getting longer. Yogi Berra , Had most of the records for a catcher in his day....in 1950 had the fewest strikeouts of all players while Mickey led with the most. Casey Stengel , A LEGEND as a PLAYER and as a COACH Whitey Ford , Most of us remember him as a Sports Broadcaster ...But back in THE DAY his left arm led all active pitchers with % of wins vs. losses as well as the lowest ERA Ryne Duren , Should have won rookie of the year award in 58 but a few innings pitched in 57 disqualified him. Bob Turley, Pitched the final winning game of the 58 World Series...1959 Allstar Elston Howard, Eli Grba, Art Ditmar, Enos Slaughter, Hector Lopez, Hank Bauer, Clete Boyer .... all these names are familiar names from long ago, and that is because they all had a HUGE impact on the game of baseball. Now let's breifly speak of condition......... Excellent ..... and the box the ball came in... T's a Box?... WOW . "Great collectible, absolutely remarkable line-up" said the auction house!. Bid with confidence !!! One other thing ...then I'll shut up. If Yogi Berra were standing in front of you today, how much would you pay him for his autograph?...Think about that...how about... Casey Stengel....Whitey Ford...Don Larson... the list goes on. Now take that ball, put it away for 47 (FOURTY SEVEN) years.......How much is it worth? Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!! All Right ....It is time to step up to the plate and give this ball the respect it deserves. I am not to try and get more money for the ball...the money will be gone tomorrow, what I am trying to do is get the value up to show some respect for these guys that signed the ball. This ball is worth much more than $150.00 . I will donate 100% of anything over $400.00 to the American Diabetes Foundation.... and I would love to make that alot!!! Or, if the winning bidder prefers, anything over 400 dollars will be donated to the charity of their choice. Let's go guys and gals!! Batter's Up On Dec-...
