Ladies and Gentlemen, we are pleased to offer this week, from a space private collection, a rare vintage 1959 original real photo ~ a Russian laboratory assistant weighs dog Lisichka before test spaceflight. October 1959, Moscow. Glossy photograph by TASS (the Telegraph Agency of the Soviet Union) .

Historical reference: Bars and Lisichka ("Little Fox") were on a mission to orbit but died after their rocket exploded 28.5 seconds into the launch on July 28, 1960.

Condition: very good for its age.
