Full mint sheet of 50 - 4 cent stamps issued in 1960 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. The stamp shows a Boy Scout giving the Scout sign. Norman Rockwell, illustrator for 65 years for the Boy Scouts, designed this stamp. As was his practice, a real Scout, Thornton Percival of Massachusetts was the model. The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. This sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 40+ years ago and is suitable for framing. If you're a stamp collector, it is Scott #1145.
