This 1960 Ole Miss yearbook is in excellent condition. T is a note on a blank page at back from a classmate to the original owner. T are 351 pages plus an advertising section. Sports fans will enjoy the photos and writeups on the schools various teams. The 1959 Rebel football team was voted the SEC Team of the Decade and was probably the greatest in Ole Miss history. The team gave up only 21 points during the whole season. Team photo is shown in one scan. Fifteen players were noted who would play professionally: Cowboy Woodruff, Bobby Crespino, George Blair, Doug Elmore, Billy Brewer, Jake Gibbs(baseball), Bobby Franklin, Charlie Flowers, Allen Green, Ken Kirk, Marvin Terrell, Robert Khayat, Johnny Brewer, Ralph Smith, and Larry Grantham. The Rebels also won the 1959 SEC baseball championship. Another scan shows Lynda Meade who had a nice year winning Miss University, Miss Mississippi, and Miss America 1960. Another scan shows Miss Ole Miss Mary Campbell and Colonel Rebel Robert Khayat known today as Chancellor. Overall a nice look at campus life 48 years ago. Accept PayPal only.
