RARE COLLECTIBLE 1960's JAEGER - LECOULTRE RECITAL 8-DAY TRAVEL CLOCK w/ 24 HOUR ALARM. INCLUDES ORIGINAL RED LEATHER BOX w/ GOLD LATCH Silvery dial reads "JAEGER", "RECITAL, "8" in circle and "SWISS MADE" Bottom of foot has a stamped number: "100" and a "+" nearby. CONDITION DETAILS (please read carefully): Clockwork winds up and runs fine and keeps time for 7 to 8 days, but the wind-up spring for the alarm bell is broken , so the alarm engages (clicks) at set time but does not sound . Gold plating of the clock has some scratches and chips . The glass has minor scratches and blind spots. The box has some wear and soiling from use over time; the latch w/ spring works and holds fine.
