ABOUT THIS AUCTION: FOR SALE is a fine bullfighting oil on canvas by renown Spanish Painter Jose Puente (also known as Jose Puente Gonzalez) 1928-2002. In a period early 1960's frame. Signed Jose Puente. CONDITION: EXCELLENT: The only issue with this painting is that it has been reframed. An additional 4-6 inches of the painting is tucked into the back of this frame. The signature is visible from the back. We have examined the painting carefully, and THERE IS NO DAMAGE OR LOSS TO THE PAINTING, even the section which is folded back, except for a few micro scratches (very insignificant).. SIZE: painting is showing at 10 by 14 inches. Frame is 14 by 18 inches. Actual painting is approx. 13 by 17 inches. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Puente's paintings are considered world-class bullfighting art, and are in many museums and galleries in Madrid and elsewhere in Europe .
