Rare 1960s Matchbox Set This is the SECOND and FINAL 1960s Matchbox Regular Wheels Set that I’ve placed up for bid on EBay in the past 2 weeks (I also list Matchbox items for sale under the EBay ID of matchbox4dollars). This set is very close to the Matchbox 1960 Regular Wheels 1-75 Series, but some models in this set are the black wheel versions instead of the gray wheel versions shown in the catalog. For this set, I have posted close up photos of nearly all the cars. There are 4 cars that are not shown on the display case but are included in the set. The 4 additional cars not shown are the MB1B Aveling Barford Road Roller, MB16B Super Atlantic Trailer (tan version with two front and two rear axles), MB22B Vauxhall Cresta (pink version, the one with no windows insert) and MB72B Mobile Canteen (the rare white version). All models are in MINT un-played with condition. Also included is the wood dealer display case with glass cover, which is on the case for the photos. The entire case is in excellent condition with only normal wear with age and no damage to the glass cover. Additionally, the 1960 pocket catalog (with no torn pages or pen/pencil marks) is included in this set along with a box for each model in this set.
