This is a National Westwood 75 in very good condition for its age (made between 1962 and 1964). There are no major dents or scratches on the front or back although there are those tiny "spider-web" finish cracks throughout. The most serious nicks are around the edge (see pic). It plays fine and the neck is straight and true. I don't think the neck was ever refinished but it appears to be worn thin. There are some shallow divots in the fingerboard, indicating that is was played more than a little, however there is surprisingly little fret wear. Everything appears to be original except the back-plate which is obviously new. Humbucking pickup in the neck position and transducer style pickup in the bridge (way ahead of their time). Comes with a non-original hard case similar to a 70's Fender case. It was appraised by George Gruhn at $1500 (see pic). Please, no international sale on this one.
