Hy-Lo brand, made in Japan.
I bought this several years ago with good intentions to learn how to play but I never actually did. It's taking up room in storage, so its got to go.
The case is in good condition and is newer (only a few years old). It does have one little scratch on it in the back of the case. Its not structural and less than one inch. At one point, I had taken the banjo to a music shop and had it re-strung and a new bridge put in. It plays well (that is of course if you know how). The guy told me that it was a decent instrument, great beginner.
