Vintage 1960s made in Japan Rotate-o-matic tin robot astronaut without box. After viewing other listings, it appears to be Horikawa. Robot walks well and straight, stops, abdomen spins, guns light up and 'shooting' sounds occur, but the doors do not swing open. The doors swing freely and easily, but they do not open when they should. The battery door is loose and exhibits surface oxidation. There is some surface oxidation on the back of the robot. There is a slight bending of metal at top of breastplate and below the neck; appears as if the robot may have been previously dropped and landed on his head . It is noticeable only on close inspection. As these minor defects impact the value and condition, selling condition is "not working or for parts" . Pics taken without camera flash.
