This is a fantastic, original, vintage Danish Modern couch or sofa and lounge chair set made in approx 1961 designed by prolific Danish designer Grete Jalk and manufactured to the highest standards by France and Davorkosen in Denmark. This set is in fabulous original condition, made entirely of solid beech wood it has a warm soft medium teak color to the original finish. The design of this set is top notch and the quality of materials is the best, all the wood is sculpted into organic curves, t is nothing ordinary in this sofa and chair. This couch and chair have original upholstery in fantastic original condition and is a wonderful woven wool fabric with olive/sage green color with other colors woven into it of lighter green, yellows, orange and reds, however the overall effect is of a sage/olive/taupe color, very attractive fabric and extremely well made. The fabric is in such good condition it has NO odours or any discernible smells. You can see how the upholstery looks in my closeup photo however this photo is a bit more green than in reality, it is a sage/taupe and in some light it appears almost brown, a bit hard to describe but the colors would go very well in a modern decor.
