Up for bid is a 1961 Gibson Vanguard amplifier. This amp has been recently restored (re-capped and re-tubed). All pots have been cleaned and the amp sounds amazing. According to Gibson, this amp was originally a combo. Somewhere along the last 50 years, the amp was made into a head. We recovered the homemade cabinet with purple tolex (it looks unique). This auction is for the amp only, the speaker cabinet is not included. The amp functions great, no scratchy pots or hum. Amazing tweed tone. I am also including a schematic for the amp. 25 Watts normal output, 35 Watts Peak. Give this amp a good home! Shipping is via FEDEX or UPS GROUND INSURED. Flat rate of $35 covers packaging and shipping to the LOWER 48 STATES ONLY!! International bidders and Alaska/Hawaii need to contact us prior to bidding for an accurate shipping quote.
