Kit No. H-1832:130This was a 1961 model of Alan Shepards "Freedom 7" Mercury spacecraft. It was boxed to look like a newspaper announcing the mission.Unfortunately, this kit got wet and very little of the box remains. At this time Revell had just started sealing the kit directions and decals in plastic bags. The sad part is that they did not always seal them completely. As a result, while all the papers and directions appear to have survived, the decals got damp enough to mess with them. The picture I took showing the decals was the best I could do.The kit is unstarted and still on the sprues. It should be complete since it is factory sealed.Please look at the photos and contact me if there are any questions. The kit will be sold as-is.
