Vintage Cartoon Script Wow! This auction is for one of several amazing pieces of animation related ephemera/documentation I have listed this week. This particular piece is an EXTREMELY rare voice over script. This script was actually originally used by Mel Blanc and he kept it a long with a couple others over the years. It comes directly from his collection! The script is from a Warner Brothers cartoon titled Birds of a Father (the original title was Have Son, Will Travel but it is crossed out with the final version) which was a Sylvester and Sylvester Jr. cartoon released back in 1961. It was directed by Bob McKimson who would have put this document together and came up with the dialogue. The document has a list of all the lines in the cartoon and who would have been saying them (which cartoon character). The final dialogue might be slightly different because Mel and the other voice over people would make changes on the fly. The document is the ORIGINAL and it has somenotes and marks and t that McKimson and Mel made. This is an EXTREMELY rare document and this was the ONLY working version handled by McKimson and Blanc and others at the studio – AMAZING! Measures about 8½" x 11" and is in great condition. 5 Pages. Guaranteed original – the document was TYPED with a typewriter, not copied! Check out the other couple I have listed!
