~ 1962 Chevrolet Impala convertible - West Coast Precision Diecast 1:24 Mint This auction is for a 1:24th scale diecast of the 1962 Chevrolet Impala convertible . American Family car, 8 3/4" long, is produced in exacting detail by West Coast Precision Diecast . It is in mint condition in its original box, with paperwork. This release, in Honduras Maroon , was limited to 1500 pieces. This car has been out of the box only for these pictures. The '62 Impala got "squared off" and cleaned up for 1962. The 409 engine was now available in all models. The Super Sport package got you bucket seats, extra chrome trim, knock off hubcaps and the 409.This is a very detailed 1/24 diecast model. It features opening doors, an opening hood & posable steering and opening trunk. Underhood detail is very nice, including plug leads & hoses on the famous 409 V8 engine. This hard to find diecast, in " Honduras Maroon ", displays very nicely. It has never been displayed (the original Hubcaps are still wrapped up in the trunk). It is out of production and should make an excellent addition to your vintage "American Luxury Car" memorabilia or 1:24 scale diecast collectibles.
