1962 Gottlieb Rack A Ball Wedgehead Pinball Machine with Backbox Animation: is a VERY early Gottlieb wedgehead pinball machine with backbox animation. And best of all, IT IS FULLY WORKING! If you're looking for a challenging machine for your collection or gameroom that will keep making you play "just one more game," look no further. Although the playfield layout and strategy may be considered simple when compared to newer machines, it is JUST challenging enough, and JUST prevents you from mastering it, that it can make you pull your hair out. Trust me... In addition to trying to score as many points as you can, the main objective is to cancel all twelve of the rollover lanes scattered throughout the playfield. As each one is cancelled, an animated ball pops up in the backglass and rolls down the ramp towards the left side of the glass. This continues to happen as you hit more and more of the twelve different rollover lanes, with animated balls continuing to register in the backglass. You can keep track of the number by looking at the numbered graphics on the backglass below each ball. The more balls that you have showing, the greater chance you have to win a free game!
