3 Piece South Korea 1st Yr. Issue Lot! All photos in this listing are of actual banknote and coins being auctioned...so please feel free to grade by the photos provided. First year issue banknote from South Korea - 1962 1 Won Pick# 30a - This banknote was printed in the U.K. by Thomas De La Rue, issued on June 10, 1962 and was withdrawn on May 20, 1970. Banknote has been graded 64 Choice Uncirculated EPQ (Exceptional Paper Quality). First year issue coin from South Korea 1959 - 100 Hwan KE 4292 #KM-3 - minted by the Philadelphia Mint in 1959...due to inflation and a series of devaluations, the 100 hwan coin was withdrawn (melted) in 1962. This coin graded AU Details Polished. First year issue coin from South Korea 1959 - 50 Hwan KE 4292 #KM-2 - minted by the Philadelphis Mint in 1959...unlike the 100 Hwan coin, these coins stayed in circulation until withdraw in 1975. This coin is not graded and shows circulation wear.Free shipping in U.S. only!
