TORNEO ANUAL CATEGORIA "A" CAMPEON JULIO DE 1962 Saltillo Country Club Annual Tournament Category "A" Champion July 1962 Gustavo Martinez - Silversmith Gustavo Martinez was a former maestro at Hector Aguilar's Taller Borda. Martinez was also a close friend of William Spratling. "Coy" is an abbreviation of Coyoacan, the name of a borouch in Mexico City. Coyoacan means "place of the coyote." Hence, the appearance of the image of a coyote on some Martinez items. This is from “The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks” by Bille Hougart.
