Leather bound Turkish War College Presentation Photo Album presented to RADM Richard H. Phillips in 1962. Measures approximately 12 x 14" with embossed portrait to the front cover. Contains nineteen black and white photos of the Turkish War College and RADM Phillips's activities. RADM Phillips was commissioned through the Naval Academy in 1927 and was awarded the Navy Cross while commanding Destroyer Division 108 during the Pacific battle of Battle of Surigao Straits in 1944. His other awards included the Legion of Merit and Bronze Star Medals, both with 'V' device. He later served as Secretary to the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Commander of Destroyer Flotilla Three.
