I have been a collector of football memorabilia for over ten years, i will be auctioning some of my collection. Please read the description of the item before bidding. 1962 World Cup Quarter Final Ticket Brazil v England at Estadio Sausalito, Vina Del Mar 10th of June 1962 An antique football ticket for the 1962 Football World Cup Quarter Final, a genuine original ticket, highly collectable and very rare. This was the furthest that England had got in the World Cup at this point. England lost the match 3 - 1, Garrincha (2) and Vava scoring for Brazil, Hitchens scoring for England. Brazil would go on to the Final at Estadio Nacional in Santiago, where they beat Czechoslovakia 3 - 1, winning the World Cup for the second time, having won the previous World Cup in 1958. England would have to wait another four years but went on to win the 1966 World Cup held in England. The ticket is in excellent condition, very close to mint, the best condition that you will find for such a rare ticket. Museum quality item, a fantastic ticket and a piece of football history.
