This is an original 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS Convertible Ad Proof , as printed internally by Chevy's advertising agency, Campbell-Ewald. It features a white Super Sport Convertible with red interior , measures 21" tall by 15" wide and ran in March 1963 newspapers. It's properly folded twice and is printed in red & black on premium white coated paper stock. Titled " LUXURY CAR: RIDES, RESPONDS AND LOOKS LIKE IT OUGHT TO COST A RANSOM " the ad shows a four speed convertible above the Chevy SS Super Sport logo. The ad agency "signature", logo and date are in the bottom right corner. The text describes the Impala SS features and options like the four-speed transmission, Positraction, sintered metallic brake linings, available 425 hp engine and the 340 hp 409 engine . Proofs of ads like this one were printed by ad agencies for internal use , and are very scarce. They use high quality paper and the printing is perfectly done.
