1963 John Deere 110 Garden Tractor 38 Mower Deck Manual This is a very rare opportunity to own a ORIGINAL John Deere 1963 110 38 Inch Hand Laid Mower Deck manual. I have only ever seen one other of these and I am pretty heavy into collecting John Deere Lawn and Garden Tractors and equipment. One the cover it reads Operating Instructions Form M 431-663 John Deere 38 Rotary Mower For 110 Lawn and garden Tractors. In 1963 it was the first year John deere ever built garden tractors and they used the serial number 2550-3550 for their tractors and mower decks. They only built 1000 tractors that first year and they used a special mower deck that was handlaid and welded and looked nothing like the rest of the round fender tractors built from 1964-1967. It is kind of square shaped and very hard to come by. This manual is for one of those mower decks. It is in black and white and has 16 pages. It is complete and in great shape but has a few light dirty finger prints on the cover. T are pictures inside of a 1963 110 that could be very useful in restoring your tractor back to original. It shows how to hang the mower deck, operate it, level it, engage it, lubricate it, blades, service it. I can guarantee you will look long and hard to find another one of these!
