1963 Original Photo SANDY KOUFAX - NO-HITTER vs. GIANTS Starting Bid 99 cents !!! .... Absolutely NO RESERVE !!! DESCRIPTION KING of the HILL ! A Vintage 1963 ORIGINAL Photo capturing Sandy Koufax of the Los Angeles Dodgers on the night he threw his No-Hitter against the San Francisco Giants at Dodger Stadium on May 11, 1963. This 8” x 10” photo with excellent contrast and crisp clarity was captured by sports photographer David Sutton who shot many images for Sport Magazine. Sutton was also one of the first sports photographers belonging to the ASMP – the American Society of Magazine Photographers (now known as the “American Society of Media Photographers”). This offered photo is one of three different photos from that memorable evening that we will be offering this week. Each is “ONE-of-a-KIND”. This one was intended to be used in the pages of Sport Magazine but was unpublished (the other two we have up were). Sutton’s photo credit stamp is on the reverse and as with the majority of Sutton’s works, t are no borders on this full size 8” x 10” (i.e. the photo is NOT trimmed and developed in this manner for the publication).
