This is a Vintage 1963 St. Louis Cardinals Pennant with Team pictureincluding: Stan Musial, Ken Boyer, Bob Gibson, Curt Flood, Duke Carmel, DalMaxvill, Tim McCarver, Dick Groat, Curt Simmons, and others. I believe Stan Musial retired at the end of the 1963 season. Got this as a 10 year old kid attending the what is referred to as the first Busch Stadium. The pennant is 30” long and in very good condition considering being 50 yrs. old. The white has not yellowed and the rest of the colors and printing look fresh. The blue band on the wide base is missing a small amount of material (seen in pics) maybe from some dust mites. Picture looks really good, but you can find a small crease imperfection with your finger or close visual inspection. The backside cover for team picture has yellowed and aged well. The pennant could be smoothed out or lightly ironed, but that would best be handled after shipping to the winning bidder’s preference or satisfaction. I will package so the picture remains flat and the remainder is lightly rolled. This appears to be a fine example of sports pennant or flag with some history and 1963 being the final year for Stan Musial playing the game he played so smooth.
