I have been a collector and trader of Beatles memorabilia for well over 30 years and there comes a time when a special item is passed along to another collector to enjoy. I am offering what I consider the nicest example of original Beatles autographs I have ever owned. This set of autographs are all on the side flap of a British envelope (somewhat heavier stock than traditional paper) and in red ink over the beige colored envelope flap. This vintage set dates to the pre-hysteria year of 1963 as the Beatles were about to jump into the global spotlight. Paul McCartney pens the words (BEATLES) under his name. George Harrison follows below Paul and includes XXX and is followed by John Lennon with his own XXX and concludes below with Ringo Starr (penning out his FULL name - not just a star) and the XXX salutation as well. You can actually see the pen impressions on the reverse side of the piece. The actual size of this trapezoid figured piece is approximately 5" across the smaller top parallel side and 5-1/2" across the bottom parallel side by 2-1/4" top to bottom.
