The 1964-1965 New York Worldâe(tm)s Fair featured a large Transportation area dominated by exhibits from the Big Three Automakers. Each company handed out free badges, which visitors were proud to wear around the fairgrounds. In this lot are badges from General Motors' Futurama âeoeI have seen the futureâe, Fordâe(tm)s Europe display w visitors road Ford cars through the exhibit and a VIP badge from the Chrysler exhibit. The GM badge is metal, clean, rust free with minor surface scratches. The Ford badge is made from "glow in the dark" plastic, intact with some marks on the back. The Chrysler badge is made from cardboard, with folds in the fingers. The pin is attached to the back with a drop of glue which has turned brown over the years. Note two punctures in the lower right. At the close of the auction, the successful bidder will receive an automatic invoice from Pay Pal. Once payment has been confirmed, your purchase will be on the way in three days or less -- usually the next day. Shipment will be made to confirmed addresses using delivery confirmation. If your address is unconfirmed, purchase the available insurance from the USPS. Your purchase will be carefully packed to avoid damage.
