Bored and stroked to 409, the legendary engine ran chills up the spine of its competition. RPO L-80 was rated at 425 hp with its intimidating dual-quad set-up. In 1964, along with other Chevrolet hi-performance engines, it got dressed with lots of chrome.” “AN EXPERTLY DESIGNED ENGINE IS A WORK OF ART” By Illustrator David Kimble, this highly detailed artwork was done entirely by hand with fine-line inking by pencil drawings, then airbrushed to include details such as shadows, valve adjustments, and part number stampings on the see-through drawing.
