This auction is for a rare Beatle concert program from September 5, 1964 at the Chicago International Amphitheatre. This program was only given out at this concert on this one day. (As opposed to the Beatles USA Ltd. Concert programs from 1964/65/66 which were sold for the entire concert tour and also sold through the fan club.) The program measures 6-1/4" x 9-1/4" and has 8 pages. Page 3 has the photos of each Beatle along with their names. They mislabeled John and George's name under the wrong photos. This page also lists the other groups on the bill: The Exciters, Jackie DeShannon, the Righteous Brothers, and the Bill Black Combo. The next page is a full-page ad for Ludwig Drums congratulating Ringo and the Beatles on their tour. The photo shows Ringo playing his trademark Ludwig drums. The back cover has a 1/2 page ad for Discount Records picturing Meet the Beatles, Beatles Second Album and Something New LPs - all for $2.66 each in mono (stereo for only $3.32 each). The bottom 1/2 of the back cover is an ad for the Beatles London Palladium poster. The program is in very good condition - it is lightly yellowed with age - t are a couple very small nicks along the bottom edge - t are a few light creases. A VERY HARD-TO-FIND BEATLE CONCERT PROGRAM WHICH WOULD BE A GREAT GIFT FOR A BEATLE COLLECTOR OR SOMEONE WHO WENT TO THE CONCERT! Postage is $5.00 . (NOTE, if you need this by Christmas you'll have to send a money order as checks delay shipping two weeks.) I've been selling Beatles memorabilia for over 25 years and am co-author (Rick Rann) of The Beatles Memorabilia Price Guide.
